If you’re anything like us, you too have either misplaced your phone charger or have enough cords and cables to open your own RadioShack. While we may evolve with technology by upgrading our pocket computers and laptops, for some reason we hold on to old chargers. Maybe it’s from our “waste not, want not” upbringing or we all are secretly hoarders. Whatever the case may be, we assure you that you’re not the only one and we’ve been there too.

Don’t fret! Here are a few innovative modern looks that will transform your tangled mess from bleak to chic…

A simple solution is probably sitting in your cupboard. Clear toiletry jars are an easy start to wrangling our generation’s “arch nemesis.” Or, if the hipster in you feels this aesthetic is a bit too trendy, use mason jars instead for an apothecary look.

Another cute way to manage this pesky menace is with a children’s suction mounted toothbrush holder. We know it looks like something a Belieber would have in her [or his] room, but we think it’s a quirky answer to a first world problem.

Instead of buying a bag of rubber bands to wrap each individual cord, try using these sophisticated wall bands to showcase your inner OCD.

Stylize heftier cords or rarely used cables with a cool glass vase. Even your techie friends will be impressed by your cord keeping abilities.

And if you can’t beat ’em, join ’em! Accessorizing your home with wire furniture isn’t a way of admitting defeat; quite frankly it shows how you’ve embraced the evolution of design.
